iCommunity.TV offers three ways to subscribe to the content you are interested in. News clips are categorized by location and news type. By clicking on News Channels in the main menu, you will be able to pick a category to start with and to see all news clips submitted in that category, for example Berlin. You can refine that selection, e.g. if you are only interested in Politics in Berlin. If you you are looking to stay updated with the most recent news clips added to this selection ("custom channel"), without having to come back to this website, you can either:

• add the RSS feed to the RSS Reader of your choice,
• open the Google Earth networklink to explore the videos located on a virtual globe and save it to My Places in this application,
• click on the Democracy Player symbol to add the channel to the Internet TV desktop application (Currently this only works for the latest news on the frontpage. We are working on fixing this problem and making it available for custom channels also).

All feeds will be updated any time new content is added to your area of interest.

Submit

If you want to bring iCommunity.TV to your city or neighborhood and to expand the local news network, we need your support as an editor. After registering and logging in, you will be provided with an upload form when clicking on Submit News in the top menu. This will enable you to enter your own or other news clips via their Youtube ID, add a description and locate them via a map or a Latitude/Longitude pair. More specific details are provided in the helptips next to the fields in the upload form.

Since iCommunity.TV is only an aggregation platform for videos hosted on Youtube.com (more video hosting services will be supported soon) you will also need to register with this website to post your own videos. For more infos visit the help center
