City of Fernley Halloween Spooktacular!

The City of Fernley Youth City Council's first Safe & Spooktacular Trick or Treat, held in partnership with the Lyon County Library and Lyon County Sheriff's Volunteer in Policing program, was a huge success. The first time event sponsored and coordinated by the City of Fernley and the Youth City Council attracted over 1500 trick or treaters distributing over 10,000 pieces of candy. This was an awesome event that creates a safe environment for children in our community. The event featured the VIP's annual haunted house, a Halloween Costume contest sponsored by Amazon.com, a Fortune Teller, a giant bounce house sponsored by Backyard Miniature Golf, City Council Chambers converted into a Spooktacular haunted hall, photos by Norton photography and, of course goodies and treats!
