Sandomierz News from July 19, 2009. Gothic picture and baroque sculpture returned to the Diocesan Museum after renovation. For last few months they were in the workshop of Fine Arts Academy in Warsaw. The picure painted by an anonymous artist present the scene of the Annunciation. There's also a rare image of Child Jesus with the Cross. The 18th century figure of Mary Magdalene has gone through conservation, too. This is a work of Maciej Polejowski, who among other things made the sculptures in the Cathedral of Sandomierz. The Diocesan Museum sent more than ten other works to the conservation. They will be returned to the museum within several months. The museum also aquired a Renaissance work "the Homage of Three Wise Men" from a workshop in Cracow. --- Sandomierskie wiadomości z 19 lipca 2009. Do muzeum diecezjalnego po renowacji wrócił gotycki obraz i barokowa rzeźba. Ostatnie kilka miesięcy spędziły w pracowni Warszawskiej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych. Obraz nieznanego twócy przedstawia scenę zwiastowania. Jest tu też rzadko występujący wizerunek Chrystusa w postaci dzieciątka z krzyżem. Konserwację przeszła też 18 wieczna rzeźba przedstawiająca Marię Magdalenę. Jest to dzieło Macieja Polejowskiego, twórcy m.in. rzeźb w sandomierskiej katedrze. Muzeum Diecezjalne do konserwacji przekazało jeszcze kilkanaście innych dzieł. Do muzealnych sal wrócą za kilka miesięcy. Muzeum wzbogaciło się też o renesansowe dzieło z pracowni krakowskiej "Pokład trzech króli".
